Color Behavior, Verified Press Family After Press Family

EFI's authority sits at the junction of Fiery color science, inkjet hardware, ink chemistry, substrate testing, and production workflow. The research culture is practical: every claim must survive a spectrophotometer, a light booth, a media transport path, and an operator who has to run the same job tomorrow.

"A profile is not a promise until it has survived the substrate, the ink limit, the cure window, the operator routine, and the customer's tolerance target." EFI Applications Engineering

Inside the EFI lab network

The lab network exists to turn a production question into a measured answer. A sign shop may need adhesion on a rigid board, a corrugated converter may need stable browns on B-flute, and a textile printer may need a fabric profile that survives finishing. EFI facilities approach those problems through repeatable measurement rather than generic capability lists.
